I'm setting up a website using wordpress which is fully powered by https. (I am yet to get the SSL certificate, for the time being using webfaction's SSL certificate).
For some reason the logo-image doesn't load even though its a valid image url.
The site is http://popsplat.in which doesn't load the logo image.
The logo image is at http://popsplat.in/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/logopng-01.png which is valid.
Is there anything wrong with the setup ?

Be sure that you have a HTTP site setup for your image in the control panel. If you only have a HTTPS site, then your HTTP link will be invalid. Also if you are using a redirect from HTTP to HTTPS, your HTTP images will redirect to HTTPS causing your HTTPS to be invalid. If you are only going to be using HTTPS, update your links to only be HTTPS for your images.
