Since webfaction is a series of webapps, where does one put a favicon icon? What would be considered a root folder for the entire site across webapps? Or do I have to put it into each webapp folder?

im having problems getting my favicon to show as well. i have a django app and changed httpd.conf, adding

LoadModule alias_module modules/mod_alias.so <location "="" favicon.ico"=""> SetHandler None </location>
alias /Favicon.ico /home/myusername/webapps/django/myproject/static/images/Favicon.ico

but still no favicon. if i try www.mysite.com/Favicon.ico, i can see the favicon.

any help would be much appreciated! thanks

Looks like your formatting may not be correct. Here's a full explanation of what you are trying to do, in the format you are trying to use:

There is no root folder for apps. You would need to place your favicon in each app.
