It looks like the installer, could not download web2py setup(most probably due to a network problem) which caused this.
Can you try to install again, if that does not help please file a support ticket with us at help.webfaction.com so we can take a better look at the problem.
I get the same problem too. Seems it does not clone the web2py branch but I can manually execute the 'hg clone' command in the ssh shell.
I also get that error when using that link
