Is it possible to run multiple websites (with their own domains) from the same hosting plan?

Yes, you can host multiple sites and domains from a single plan. Just:

  1. Add your domain for the site at https://panel.webfaction.com/domain/list
  2. Add an app for the new site at https://panel.webfaction.com/app_/list
  3. Create a site to hook the app to the domain at https://panel.webfaction.com/site/list
