In my Django App I let nginx serve the static media via an static-only app. Problem is: The images are loading really really slowly. Even when accessed directly through their URL (example) Honestly, I have no idea why...

Load was high on this server recently, but the links you provided are loading instantly for me.

Thanks for your reply! I just realised that my app runs on a server located in the USA while me and most of my visitors are based in Germany. Should i consider migrating it to a server in Europe?
Yes, migrating to our EU data center would certainly improve the connectivity for your EU-based visitors. You can request the migration from the Server migration link in your control panel.
