I'm installing an SSL certificate on our website. I have gone through the process of purchasing the certificate and then generating the CSR as outlined here: http://docs.webfaction.com/user-guide/websites.html#secure-sites-https and have received the final crt zip via email. I'm not sure where to place these files in webfaction and which changes to make for Apache to work this website. I'm just looking for some direction on this final step. Thanks! asked 15 Aug '12, 14:47 jonkratz |
All you have to do is upload the certificate, the key file (with no passphrase) and any intermediate certificates to your home directory. Set up your HTTPS site in the control panel. Then open a support ticket to request that the certificate be installed. I hope this helps! answered 15 Aug '12, 15:35 maryh |
I bought a Positive SSL certificate at https://www.ssls.com (Namecheap) for $8.95 and it covers both non-www and www. answered 26 Aug '15, 12:39 Jervisbay Thank you for sharing! We appreciate it.

I have good experience with https://www.cheapsslshop.com/ Got basic domain validation certificate under $5 per year. They had also provided me free setup assistance for cpanel. answered 31 Aug '15, 06:46 PettyN |
