When I try to load my site securely (https://tq.pinney.webfactional.com/), my browser gives me the following warning:

tq.pinney.webfactional.com uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is only valid for the following names: *.webfaction.com , webfaction.com

(Error code: ssl_error_bad_cert_domain)

I'm not surprised that the certificate is invalid because it was set up for another domain (trustedquote.com), but why is the certificate valid for webfaction.com rather than trustedquote.com?

Here's my nginx.conf file at pastebin.

It turns out that to make use of your own SSL certificate, you actually have to open a support ticket and "request activation."

This is because we do not provide a cert for the webfactional.com address. We use the one we use for our other domain so it is secured, and you know it is secured by us, but it still will be invalid. There is no way to get a valid certificate for your webfactional.com domain, this is by design.

My question isn't why this is invalid (I know it should be invalid). My question is why the webfaction cert is being served up instead of my cert. I'm on a webfactionAL.com subdomain, but a cert is being served up for webfaction.com (no 'al' at the end of the domain name).
