Hi!

Is it possible to use php 5.3 with a wordpress installation? I already tried to add "AddHandler php53-cgi .php" in .htaccess, but it didn't seem to have any affect.

If you are in one of the newer servers (Web120+) you should try adding the following in an .htaccess file:

<FilesMatch \.php$>
    SetHandler php53-cgi
</FilesMatch>

This does not work for me. Where do I add this exactly? I tried accessing my .htaccess file within my /webapps/my_app Wordpress folder. I added these lines but it causes my Wordpress site to stop running. I would like PHP5.3 so I can use some plugins which require it.

You're on one of our older servers, and this method won't work on those. Instead, you can create a new PHP 5.3 app within the control panel, then copy your existing WP site files over to that app and use it to serve your site.
