Hi! I would like to know how to send an email (in this case, to GMail) when any email hits my inbox, no need to filter them or search for specific patterns.

The scenario is that this client doesn't check the webmail interface (he only works with the webmail interface, no local email client is set up) but wants to know if there are messages on the webmail inbox.

I'm not asking for email forwarding nor importing webmail mail from Gmail, but a simple email on his GMail account like "there are unread messages on the webmail interface"

Thanks in advance!

You can use the send e-mail to a script feature to detect when an e-mail is received, than write a script to send the message.
