Community site: login faq

I created a django app on my account following the webfaction tutorial. Everything went fine as described there except for the last step, i.e. restarting the apache server.

When I tried to restart it, the terminal prompt told me that it was not running. So I tried to start it using the apache2/bin/start comand, but then I get the following error:

(2)No such file or directory: httpd.worker: could not open error log file /home/<webfaction username>/logs/user/error_djangomap.log. Unable to open logs

I checked, and in my /home/<webfaction username>/logs/ directory, there is no subdirectory called user, only the frontend one.

So the question is how I can start my Apache server to get the django app to work?

The ~/logs/user directory is created by default, when you first open your account. Maybe it was deleted at some point?

Please open a support ticket and we can take a look at it and re-create it.
