I'd like to install CMS Made Simple on my site. I searched for information about doing this but only came up with a few articles, enough to show that people do it, but not with any details on how.

My guess would be to use a Static PHP app. Is this the correct approach, or is something else preferable? Any pointers to existing descriptions of the kind of install I need to do would be very helpful.

CMS Made Simple is a PHP app, so the easiest way would be to use a 'Static/PHP/CGI' type app.

Info on creating the app, managing the app and creating/managing databases can be found in our user guide.

We are also happy to look at particular problems with a support ticket.

Thanks johns that's what I thought. Hopefully others with experience installing CMSMS on Webfaction will add comments about things to watch out for. In any case, I'll get started and will open a support ticket if I run into anything.
