Hello.

I'm having a max connection issue to the mysql and so I wanted to turn off the persistant connection, ie: allow_persistent = Off

Is there a way for me to do this?

Thanks,

There is not a way to turn that off for the shared MySQL server. You would need to run a private instance of MySQL for that. We have tried to make it easier to do that by creating an installer from the Control Panel.

Please see the following announcement for more details.
