Is there a way to use easy_install to install all of the dependencies listed in my requirements.txt, instead of doing it one-by-one?

Thanks.

Hi,

The easiest way to install a list of dependencies from a requirements.txt file is to use pip. You can install pip with easy_install-2.x pip.

Then with pip you can run:

pip install -r requirements.txt

And your dependencies will be installed.

Hi, I think this bash script would work:

while read line; do easy_installX.Y $line; done < requirements.txt

where X.Y is the Python version you are installing modules for. Hope that helps!

If I'm forced to use easy_install, this is the quickest way to use a requirements.txt file:

easy_install `cat requirements.txt`
