Magento Connect

I am attempting to install modules from Magento Connect but am having a difficult time connecting the Magento Connect Manager to webfaction to enable ftp deployment. Every time I try, I get the message: Deployment FTP Error. Cannot chdir after login to: /webapps/wirefury/

I'm at a loss and any help would be appreciated.

I'm not familiar with Magento Connect, but to me it looks like you've configured it to upload files into the wrong directory.

If you've used "/webapps/wirefury/" as a FTP location in some configuration, try changing that to "/home/your_username/webapps/wirefury/" (replace "your_username" with your actual account user name).
