Is there any word from Webfaction on this issue? Any effected by this?

I don't know of any recent WordPress attacks on our servers that are specifically related to the issue mentioned in the Ars article, but infected WordPress sites are an everyday occurrence, so I wouldn't rule it out.

If you're concerned about your own WordPress sites, feel free to open a support ticket and we'll check them for you.
