I have a client who needs to run their store on Magento. They get 10-12k visitors a month. It is also well-known that Magento is very resource intensive. Sure, we can handle Magento sites. We host plenty of them already, and we have an unofficial installer available here: WebFaction Magento Installer You shouldn't need any extra RAM - since we serve PHP sites as CGI by default, all of your requests should be short-lived, so you won't have long-running processes for the Magento site. Our general recommendations are:
