Hi, I seem to have a strange bug with created a new mailbox and email address.

When a NEW mailbox and email address has been setup, I try receiving emails using webmail (to check it works) and I get the following Mail Delivery System error: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in virtual alias table

If I SEND my first message from webmail, at that point on I can receive message and all works?!

It seems the mailbox/address doesn't receive in webmail until you send your first message? Has anyone else found this?

It's not really a showstopper but it makes setting up an unrouted email address tricky. I followed the advice from this thread: http://community.webfaction.com/questions/545/how-to-route-unrouted-emails-to-specific-email-address-or-mailbox

I created a *@mydomain.com to catch all unrouted traffic and send it to my mailbox but it doesn't work. I get the same error: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in virtual alias table

I dont know if the two things are related. If so I don't know how to create a catch all unrouted email address because its not something I can/want to send from.

Any thoughts or has anyone else had this problem?

That shouldn't be happening. Please open a support ticket via our control panel so that we can have a closer look at this.
