is there a standard/proper step on updating pyramid and its dependencies with new version on an existing app? Say, I initially installed my app on pyramid 1.4 (available on dropdown on add application) for example and saw that there is a new update to pyramid 1.4.x. Appreciate the response.

For Pyramid apps installed via our control panel, the application directory is actually a virtualenv.

So, you can activate that environment, ie "source ~/webapps/whatever/bin/activate" and then update pyramid with pip or easy_install as you prefer.

Note that while this will update your installed Pyramid libraries, it won't change the Pyramid version number displayed by our control panel. The panel only knows the original version that was installed.

Hope that helps!
