Every time I restart Apache (or when Apache is restarted), a plain "Server Unavailable" page gets shown. Is there anyway to customise this page, since it probably doesn't make much sense to many people?

Generally Apache goes down and comes back up in just a few seconds, but it would be great to make the user experience better for any users who arrive during that window, to explain what's going on.

Sorry, but our 502 pages cannot be customized at this time.

Is there any plans to implement this, it would be very, very desirable : )

It is possible we may add this in the future.

what kind of app are you running? I solved this problem by using custom nginx to serve all my django apps. Don't have to restart nginx when I refresh a django process, and if I do have to restart the server, restarts take 0 time and the 50x experience is fully customizable.
