Hi! I've checked http://docs.webfaction.com/user-guide/access.html?highlight=group#creating-additional-users but I can't find the information about this particular task:

I'd like to restrict a new ftp/shell user to a certain folder (specifically, the root folder of a recently created website). I know there is a "groups" setting, but I don't know who created them, how do them got created, or how to map a group with a set of folders or permissions!

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

We presently don't have any way to completely restrict or jail a user into a specific folder, but you can mostly achieve it by following this procedure: Granting Access to Specific Users
