WebFaction
Community site: login faq

I'm a novice working on a project with a real developer. The developer is probably familiar with working with svn via command line, but I am not. I've used tortoise on WinXP, but that's it.

Is svn on webfaction capable of access and usage via a separate app with more userfriendly GUI?

Recommendations welcome.

Where is the central repository located? On a WebFaction server? ...Or somewhere else?

Where are you doing the work? On your home computer? ...Or directly on the server?

As far I know for SVN you only need a file browser like app, you cant read the docs stored in the svn repo so no much functionality you need, only commint and etc but these are console commands...
