I'm a novice working on a project with a real developer. The developer is probably familiar with working with svn via command line, but I am not. I've used tortoise on WinXP, but that's it. Is svn on webfaction capable of access and usage via a separate app with more userfriendly GUI? Recommendations welcome. asked 25 Aug '13, 17:06 designodyssey |
As far I know for SVN you only need a file browser like app, you cant read the docs stored in the svn repo so no much functionality you need, only commint and etc but these are console commands... answered 26 Sep '13, 09:48 lacunza |
Where is the central repository located? On a WebFaction server? ...Or somewhere else?
Where are you doing the work? On your home computer? ...Or directly on the server?
