I have three applications being served on my domain. Two of them are on django, and i am concerned about those.

I get a maxClients reached error on both my apps.

Here are my server details.

RAM = 512 MB

ServerLimit = 1

MaxClients = <default>.

I expect a maximum of 500 simataneous clients to each of my app.

What should be my Server settings?

MaxClients defaults to the ThreadsPerChild setting multiplied by the ServerLimit setting. You do not need to set a specific value for MaxClients.

You have "ThreadsPerChild 5" and "ServerLimit 1", so your effective MaxClients is 5.

If you set your ServerLimit to 2, that will give you an effective value of 10 for MaxClients.

Try making that change, then restart your Apache to see if it resolves your MaxClients error.
