Hi, I managed to install rabbitmq+celery+erlang and supervisord for my account. However, celery returns this when I run manage.py celeryd -B:

 /home/user/.virtualenvs/project/lib/python2.7/site-packages/kombu/pidbox.py:74: UserWarning: A node named u'webXXX.webfaction.com' is already using this process mailbox!

Maybe you forgot to shutdown the other node or did not do so properly?
Or if you meant to start multiple nodes on the same host please make sure
give each node a unique node name!

warnings.warn(W_PIDBOX_IN_USE % {'hostname': self.hostname})

I followed the instructions here and here and managed to get supervisord to get erlang, rabbitmq and a celeryworker to start - no errors displayed. However, I am still unable to run my celery tasks (trying to send mass emails) and the above is displayed when I try to trace where I went wrong. It was not terribly helpful and I cannot seem to find any solution online. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Update So I try sending emails in shell and they don't go through. When I look into the rabbitmq log, I am presented with an equally cryptic response:

=INFO REPORT==== 22-Oct-2013::03:24:44 ===
accepted TCP connection on [::]:17313 from 127.0.0.1:48846

=INFO REPORT==== 22-Oct-2013::03:24:44 ===

=WARNING REPORT==== 22-Oct-2013::03:24:54 ===

=INFO REPORT==== 22-Oct-2013::03:24:54 ===
closing TCP connection <0.383.0> from 127.0.0.1:48846

This process is getting frustrating.

The error indicates another server is already running on the given host/port. What is the value of these settings? Is the BROKER_PORT the same as a port assigned by a custom application?

 BROKER_HOST = "localhost"
 BROKER_PORT = ******

Apologies, that error was caused because I ran an additional celery instance. However, I am still unable to run celery tasks and the log files do not have anything I can work on. Erlang, rabbitmq and celeryd are all running but when I go into shell to try sending a mail using django-celery-mail, task still stays pending. Spotted a similar question elsewhere so will investigate from there.
