WebFaction
Community site: login faq

In my Cherrypy app, I allow users to upload files via the jQuery Form Plugin. This works fine on my local host but it has ceased to work once my site is load up on webfaction. I believe its somewhere in the jQuery thats generating the error but I'm not sure how to log jQuery errors to the console.

Can someone explain really simply how to start getting the jQuery error output to print in terminal or something?

The JavaScript way to do this (and thus the jQuery way) is

console.log('whatever')

Where 'whatever' is the variable you want to print, (of course you would remove the quotes, that is a string used for demonstration, it has to be valid JavaScript obviously.)

You can than see the output in the browser console.
