We are trying to run ipython notebooks (.ipynb) non interactively as described here: Running an ipython notebook non-interactively and Gist

However this line fails:

from IPython.kernel import KernelManager

How can we install the required ipython packages?

Note: I've understood that right now it's not possible to run the ipython notebook on webfaction itself due to the port issues. That's not what we are trying to do.

We'd want to simplify workflow instead of taking the .ipynb file and saving it as .py we'd like to run it directly.

Installing ipython should be as easy as "easy_install-2.7 ipython".

ipython notebook seems to require pyzmq, which in turn requires ZeroMQ. There's some installation instructions for ZeroMQ and pyzmq available in this community post.
