Hi, has anybody tried to install Geonode (http://geonode.org) on a Webfaction shared server? It is supposed to work well but I haven't found any detailed instruction about it. Thanks

Looking at the Install Documentation the RAM usage and Processor requirements would exceed what is available except on a Managed Dedicated Server or our 8GB plan. Other than that show stopper it should not be a problem on a Managed Dedicated Server or an 8GB server. It is using django and appears very similiar to geodjango, which a lot of users have installed, even on our 512MB plans. The only issue that you may want to check is if Postgres 9.2 is required as our version is at 9.1.

If you need to install your own version of Postgres with Postgis then the community guide should be helpful.
