I need mydomain-name MX record pointed to google servers. They used to work till someone tried to change them and messed them up. I cannot alter the mx record for the domain. I can create a subdomain and then point the mx record but not the actual domain. How can I change this?

Sorted this one myself. Under DNS subdomains I selected mail.mydomain-name.com then selected edit then update. This refreshed the list in subdomains. i.e. the subdomain list now included my mydomain-name.com so I could enter the dns settings for google.
