Hi all - I find it rather frustrating that this issue of creating and jailing a secondary user to a particular /webapp has not had an easy fix implemented by now. i followed the instructions in this link I used the command /permissions.sh grant walter $HOME/webapps/stampclub to provide the user with read/write to his /webapp/ files etc. The secondary user can login, can add a directory and can add a file, ( which is owned by him and not by my account) But the html file is not viewable in a browser. EG The user created test.htm added some text, but browsers report that the file can't be found: "The requested URL /test.htm was not found on this server" and yet is there and can be edited. what gives? asked 04 Mar '14, 21:54 baba |
I just looked up your account and tested the URL you mentioned above, and it seems to work properly for me. If you're still having issues viewing it, then please open a support ticket. answered 04 Mar '14, 22:09 seanf odd. going to here: http://stampclub.ca/test.htm results in: Not Found The requested URL /test.htm was not found on this server. UPDATE: it's some DNS settings/problem . thanks for checking. i think the issue will resolve itself

It definitely works for me. You can try clearing your local DNS cache as described at the bottom of ouf domain docs.
