I need to access the log of my rails app to find out what's wrong with an error. I've looked at the documentation, but it does not have enough detail for me (I'm a beginner).

Thanks a lot!

The error log for the backend webserver should be located at $HOME/logs/user/error_<appname>.log. The access logs for the backend server are located at $HOME/logs/user/access_<appname>.log.

You can also see the front-end access at $HOME/logs/frontend/access_<websitename>.log and error logs at $HOME/logs/frontend/error_<websitename>.log.

That should be enough to figure out what is happening, however please open a support ticket if you need further assistance.
