Hi

I have installed django-projector on webfaction and it is running fine. Now the thing is that, django-projector relies on celery for message queues. Everytime I have to do something in the projector, I have to ssh into the application director and do

 python manage.py celeryd

Is there a way that celeryd is running in background all the time?

Thanks

Hi,

I don't see any reason why you couldn't run it with nohup, there is a great tutorial on it here:

I'd recommend reading the below docs for just that: http://docs.celeryproject.org/en/latest/cookbook/daemonizing.html

Take a look at this response for a quick cron + script combo that checks if celeryd is running before launching it
