I've installed Ghost via the v0.4.0 1-click installer. I edited config.js to point to the actual domain I'm using.

I added a couple of test posts, tagged one with 'science' and one with 'arts', then visited /tag/science/ - I just get a 404. Only happens on webfaction - if I sign up for a trial blog elsewhere, behaviour is as expected.

How can I debug? I ran nc -l on the same port, nginx isn't rewriting the URL requests. I switched on ghost's debug and ran node index.js to watch the output, but am none-the-wiser.

I installed a different theme other than "casper" - no luck either.

http://ghost.linacreinstitute.org/ - FINE

http://ghost.linacreinstitute.org/arts-post/ - FINE

http://ghost.linacreinstitute.org/tag/arts/ - 404. why?

Hello mozz,

Tag archiving doesn't seem to be supported by version 0.4.0.

It has been implemented in 0.4.2.

So all you would need to do is upgrade your ghost application and it should be working as expected.

We have another post on that process here, if needed.

Hope this helps! Let us know if there is anything else.

Ah, thanks. I'll get my codebase up-to-date and try again. I feel silly - but none of the online tutorials about using ghost mentioned this fact. I don't really feel as if ghost have followed their own claim to use "semantic versioning" here - 0.4.0 to 0.4.2 should only introduce "a bugfix or small change". Anyway, thanks again for the catch!
