Hello,

I need user#1 has FTP access to the folder "A" (after user#1 login via FTP he should see content of the folder "A"), which is in the other user#2's folder.

I checked documentation on granting access to a specific directory for SSH/FTP users. In my case, I created a symlink in user's home directory, pointing to the folder I want to provide access for.

Now user#1 has file/link in $HOME folder. But when user#1 login (via FTP) he still is in his $HOME folder and he sees that link file.

What Am I doing wrong here?

Thank you, Nadya

When a user logs in they will always default to their own home directory.

The purpose of the symbolic link is to make it easier to access the files in your home directory.
