I have a SailsJS app in a webapp directory and if works fine when I run it with "node app.js". I can access it via browser with no problem. However, when I try to have it run constantly with "forever start app.js" I get a 502 error from the browser. Inspecting with "forever list" shows the app.js process as being run.

Running with "sails lift" and "sails console" also works with no problem.

Does anyone have any idea how to get this working with forever?

When you use forever with app.js in Sails, you need to have sails installed locally in the directory of your app, not just installed globally.
