I've setup a Static/CGI/PHP to serve a HTML website generated by the Sphinx documentation tool. These html files are held inside a git repo so the path to index.html looks like:

<home>/webapps/myapp/myrepo.git/doc/sphinx/build/html/index.html

I've tried some htaccess setups but without success. How can I redirect root requests to the path above?

Hi,

I'd suggest that you create a symlink to static only application in the control panel and put, as the path, you should set:

/home/username/webapps/myapp/myrepo.git/doc/sphinx/build/html/

Including the trailing slash. Then mount the application at / in your site record. Now each time you do a git pull your docs will update. :)

Perfect. It is working exactly like I wanted to. I was just missing the "Symbolik link" option in the App creation page. Thanks a lot!
