I was wondering what might be the easiest and/or proper way to move a WordPress admin folder/link? I'm wanting to move wwww.example.com/wp-admin/ to a different directory.

With a 301 redirect.

This has been asked in their official community and that is the easiest answer. The other way would require much editing of core files.
