I have just installed Trac and it seems to be working OK but I do not have full admin permissions (e.g. I can't modify milestones).

According to: http://trac.edgewall.org/wiki/TracPermissions

I should be able to run the command: trac-admin /path/to/projenv permission add bob TRAC_ADMIN

but when I try this from the bash shell from my webapps directory e.g. trac-admin myt permission add bob TRAC_ADMIN

I get 'command not found', myt is the subdirectory of webapps where the trac application resides.

Any advice greatly appreciated, thanks!

Sorted. It's a Python command. From the myt/bin directory running

python2.6 trac-admin /home/user/webapps/myt permission add bob TRAC_ADMIN

works. Phew!
