WebFaction
Community site: login faq

I just signed up with Webfaction and created a new website. I turned on FastCGI, and turned off error display for PHP. I then created a test page which calls a non-existent function, and the error was not getting logged anywhere.

I fixed the problem by explicitly setting the log path in .user.ini. I thought I'd share my solution to help others:

error_reporting = E_ALL display_errors = off log_errors = on error_log = /home/[my user name]/logs/frontend/error_[my site name]_php.log
