Has anyone used the API or another method of generating a standard Zone File from your WebFaction DNS settings?

The list_dns_overrides method will only show you things that have been specifically overridden, like custom A records, CNAMES, MX records, etc. It won't show you the auto-generated things.

You could derive your auto-generated A records from the list_websites method, since that includes the IPs and subdomains of your sites, which is what we use when we generate zone files.

All of that said, there's no builtin method to generate a zone file. If you need one, feel free to open a support ticket to request it, and we'll pull it for you.
