Any idea how long it will be after PHP 7 is released (Nov 12, 2015), that we should be able to use it here?

+1 for this.

Currently we are testing the php 7 release candidates on our servers. Once php 7 is released we anticipate adding it to our servers for general availability as quickly as possible.

We will need to build the GA release, test, and deploy them to the servers. We will announce the availability on our blog as well as various social media outlets!

Note that you can compile one of the RCs and test it yourself. My website here is running PHP 7.0RC7 .

NB the release date for PHP 7.0 has slipped two weeks (to 26 Nov), and may slip again
