Hi All,

I installed a Ghost blog yesterday (awesome). What is the recommended method for serving static files? I want to upload a handful of spreadsheets to my server and provide links in my blog posts. Can I do this from the blog application or should I be creating a separate app specifically for this task?

Many thanks, Jake

As far as I know, Ghost doesn't have a way to handle general static files, other then images. So, for your spreadsheets, I recommend you create a static-only app via our control panel, and then upload your spreadsheets via SFTP to the app directory for that app. You can then add that app to your site with a suitable URL path to serve them alongside your blog.
