My .htaccess currently reads: <filesmatch \.php$=""> SetHandler php56-cgi </FilesMatch

Editing "php56-cgi" to "php7-cgi" doesn't work. How do I switch to PHP 7?

Hello,

Create a symbolic link to Static/PHP/CGI type application and use the old app as the target,

or create a new Static/PHP/CGI type app and copy the files to it.

permanent link

You need to write "php70-cgi", as in the example below that runs fine on my installation:

<FilesMatch \.php$>
SetHandler php70-cgi
</FilesMatch>
permanent link

That worked like a charm! Thanks. Should have figured that out on my own :)

I couldn't find this in the webfaction resources, so wasn't sure that it would work at all.
