Hi, until today I have avoided compile programs like the plague, but now having to install pdftk in my account, I am forced to do it.

I have installed gcc whit this configuration:

gcc-4.8.1/configure --prefix=$HOME/gcc --with-local-prefix=$HOME/gcc \
    --with-gmp=$HOME/gcc --with-mpfr=$HOME/gcc --with-mpc=$HOME/gcc \
    --with-ppl=$HOME/gcc --enable-languages='c++,java' --with-cloog=$HOME/gcc \
    --with-system-zlib --enable-libgcj --with-gnu-as --with-gnu-ld \
    --enable-clocale=gnu --enable-shared --enable-threads=posix \
    --enable-__cxa_atexit --disable-nls --disable-multilib

and I supposed that all are worked becouse of this:

[phonix88@web504 pdftk]$ which gcj
~/gcc/bin/gcj

[phonix88@web504 pdftk]$ which gcc
~/gcc/bin/gcc

[phonix88@web504 pdftk]$ which gcjh
~/gcc/bin/gcjh

But now I have this error during the process:

gcj -Wall -Wextra -O2 --encoding=UTF-8 --classpath="/usr/share/java/libgcj.jar:/home/phonix88/pdftk-2.02-dist/java:." -c java_lib.jar
gcj: error: java_lib.jar: No such file or directory
gcj: fatal error: no input files
compilation terminated.
make[1]: [java_lib.o] Error 1 (ignored)
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/phonix88/pdftk-2.02-dist/java'
make: *** No rule to make target `/home/phonix88/pdftk-2.02-dist/pdftk/../java/java_lib.o', needed by `pdftk.o'. Stop.

Unfortunately I was unable to find a solution, then any suggestions would be appreciated!

We do have another thread about the install process here:

https://community.webfaction.com/questions/5629/need-tips-on-installing-pdftk-the-pdf-toolkit

If you still have issues beyond that, please open a support ticket so we can look further into your configuration.

I had already looked at the other threads, but without results. I will proceed with a ticket like you suggested. Thank you
