WebFaction
Community site: login faq

Hi there

Setup: I use the webfaction apache 2.4.6 (/usr/sbin/httpd on my cloud 2gb) for my own local apache (I used this script https://community.webfaction.com/questions/19387/installing-a-private-instance-of-the-shared-apache-centos-7) and additional compiled php-fpm (php 5.6.18) for my drupal site (using some apache config like: ProxyPassMatch ^/(.*\.php(/.*)?)$ fcgi://127.0.0.1:PORT/path/to/the/site/$1

Logfile from Apache: Now my demo site https://www.rockheavy.org is working, but I got a lot of "Error parsing script headers". I can reproduce this if I reload the same page twice.

[Mon Feb 22 19:30:19.185364 2016] [proxy_fcgi:error] [pid 15588:tid 140416875738880] [client 127.0.0.1:52775] AH01070: Error parsing script headers

I think this is maybe a bug in the current installed apache/mod_proxy_fcgi (https://bz.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=57198) and could be solved with a newer apache version.

BUT beside this error message I got no error on my website/browser (e.g. no blank page, etcetera), so maybe I'm completely wrong with my interpretation of the error message. For me it looks like if page get cached, then the error message appears.

Questions: I'm not sure if webfaction would upgrade their apache, so I think its easier to compile my own apache ~2.4.15 with the same parameters like webfaction did, but I'm not able to find them.

  1. Does my interpretation of this error message is correct?
  2. Has anybody a working script or configure parameters for compiling an apache >2.4.11 on webfaction?

Many Thanks!

bye Marcel

I don't see anything in the bug report that mentions the error you're seeing in your logs.

Has anybody a working script or configure parameters for compiling an apache >2.4.11 on webfaction?
