I want to upgrade from Ruby1.8.7 to Ruby2.2. I am connecting via ssh and run the next command "ruby2.2" but the console don't do anything. How can upgrade Ruby?

Ruby 2.2 is already installed on your shared server.

Running "ruby2.2" at the console will drop you into the Ruby 2.2 interpreter, where you can enter Ruby statements. The statements will be executed when you exit the interpreter by pressing CTRL-D.

If you want a more useful interpreter, you can run "irb2.2", which will drop you into the interactive Ruby shell for Ruby 2.2.

Hope that helps!
