We would like to migrate from POP to IMAP and I am not sure where to start. Our users are using Thunderbird.

Has anyone done this? is it all on the Client side? It does not seem to be anything required to be done on the Webfaction serverside.

How to migrate old emails etc.

Any pointers on where to start will be helpful.

IMAP configuration instructions for Thunderbird are available here: Configuring an Email Client

Once you've configured the IMAP account, you can drag-and-drop existing messages from your local POP folders to your server-side IMAP folders.

Hope that helps!
