Hello, I'm trying to log in using PuTTY on Windows, but I'm getting "Server unexpectedly closed network connection". A number of things have changed since I last logged in (new ISP, upgraded to Windows 10, new login procedure from WF) so I want to make sure I'm doing things right. I changed my PuTTY server details to the new way of doing things (username@web186.webfaction.com, SSH, port 22) and once PuTTY starts, I'm prompted to enter my password. When I enter it, I get the error above. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance :-) asked 19 Jun '16, 19:57 Lexotron |
