While checking the Plans and prices on https://www.webfaction.com/ I noticed the Cloud plan, which is twice as much as Shared plan has only 15GB SSD Storage vs the 100GB SSD Storage on the Shared plan.

Is there a reason there is no bump for the SSD ? on the contrary, there's almost a 1/7 reduction from the smallest plan to the next ones ?

Might I have understood wrongly what this means ?

*RAM and storage allowances on cloud server plans are approximate and may vary due to resource utilization by the server operating system and hosting infrastructure.

Yes, they are on virtual servers vs physical hardware. It has to do with the way our upstream providers work.

The listed amount of RAM and disk available on a cloud server is the total for the entire virtual OS and your applications. On a shared server you don't have to think about the OS's RAM use.
