We're planning to support DKIM at some point, but it's probably at least several months away. We'll be sure to make an announcement when we it's available.

Thanks, that will be a welcome addition. Missing the DKIM signature is one strike that adds to the chance that the message will be considered spammy. For those of you reading this and still waiting, I've found mailgun to be a good alternative (for the time being). They have a free tier that is very generous.

+1 for DKIM and DMARC

I manage 4 clients who i have referred and migrated to webfaction and this is sort of ridiculous considering that this technology/standard is quite old at this point and has a history of being requested from Webfaction for almost as long.

Anything that can be used to curb spam and make our emails less likely to be filtered as spam would be very welcome.

Last week messages sent from webfaction servers started to get blocked by Google:

Unfortunately, we still have no ETA on this. We will likely post to social media about it when we do. Regarding that mail message, you should be able to appease Google by setting up an SPF record on your WebFaction email domain.

Sadly this has been happening more and more since the GoDaddy purchase. Now im struggling to make my clients receive their email in their inbox and not in SPAM. DKIM would help to achieve this but looks like they are worring more on how to get the most out of us and not on what we need.

Its sad, i thought I would stay with WebFaction indefinitely but this makes me and probably someone else start looking elsewhere.

According to the blog, WebFaction services are depreciated and customers will be migrated to GoDaddy soon. I wouldn't expect any fixes or new features from WebFaction going forward since they're in the process of shutting down.
