I have a client with a Rails app written several years ago, version 1.1.4. Probably uses MySQL 4. His current host is kicking him off. Will WebFaction work for hosting his app without changes? Thanks.

We provide an installer for v1.1.6 for Rails. Our shared MySQL server is running the following version,

$ mysql --version
mysql  Ver 14.12 Distrib 5.0.77, for redhat-linux-gnu (i686) using readline 5.1

You are free to install from source code any versions of software you please.
