I would like to use a custom app that I am configuring.

I assigned using the panel a custom app listening on port and it is created.

I can access the port using the ip written on the page. At this point I would like to access it using andyinno.webfactional.com as name.

If I ping andyinno.webfactional.com it reply from the default ip. I tried also to add a subdomain to it in the panel configuration I created xxx.andyinno.webfactional.com and I assigned the app to that domain. The problem is that I cannot ping from my pc.

Any hints on how to have access to the custom port using the dns name? am I missing something something stupid?

thank for reading.

Custom apps can use the domain like this by default,

you.webfactional.com:1234

For anything on port 80 or 443, you will need to route standard HTTP via our nginx proxy as a (custom app listening on port).
